Montreal, September 25, 2019 — Following the success of his first two shows, Arrête ton cinéma! and Badouri Rechargé, and with more than 800,000 tickets sold worldwide, Rachid Badouri is returning to the stage with his third solo show, LES FLEURS DU TAPIS.

After being in development since last June, Rachid will officially present his new show in early 2020, from January 8 to 11, 2020, at the Salle Albert Rousseau in Quebec City, and from February 19 to 22, 2020, at the Olympia de Montréal in Montreal. He will then continue his tour across Quebec.

In Les fleurs du tapis, Rachid reflects on the moments when he stumbled through life. It is also the story of an artist who looks beneath the rug to find a less polished reflection of the image he has always wanted to project.

Les fleurs du tapis tells the story of a former child king who, in the midst of a midlife crisis, must take stock of his life — otherwise, he risks losing everything. Les fleurs du tapis is Rachid: the comedian, the human being, without glitter or artifice, but funnier than ever.
